Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Service description

The site provides basketball rankings, tournament results, predictions, and related informational features.
Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

Access and accounts

Access to some or all of the site may require a password or other access controls.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for activities occurring under your access method.
You may not attempt to bypass authentication, probe for vulnerabilities, scrape the site, extract data, harvest content, or interfere with normal operations.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and third-party rights.
You may not misuse the service, introduce malicious code, overload infrastructure, impersonate others, or use the service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, display, license, sell, or otherwise exploit site content or data without prior written permission from BBallRankings.com.
You may not use the site, data, rankings, schedules, or related content for commercial purposes, including resale, lead generation, competitive products, or model-training pipelines, without prior written authorization.
Automated access, including bots, crawlers, scripts, scraping tools, API emulation, or bulk extraction workflows, is prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing.

Data and content

Rankings, predictions, tournament details, and other site content are provided for informational purposes.
We do not guarantee that data is complete, accurate, current, or fit for any specific purpose.

Intellectual property

The site, including its design, branding, software, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These terms do not grant ownership of the service or any intellectual property rights except for the limited right to use the site as permitted by these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost revenue, data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for security, operational, legal, or misuse-related reasons.

Subscriptions, billing & automatic renewal

Paid plans. Access to rankings, predictions, and club rankings is sold as an annual subscription in four tiers: Tier 1 — Rankings ($9.99/year), Tier 2 — Rankings + Score Predictions ($19.99/year), Tier 3 — Rankings + Predictions + Club Rankings ($29.99/year), and Tier 4 — Tournament Director, which adds tournament hosting to everything in Tier 3 ($49.99/year). All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax, which is added at checkout where required.
Automatic renewal — please read carefully. Your subscription is a recurring annual subscription. It automatically renews at the end of each one-year term for another year at the then-current annual price for your tier, and your payment method on file will be charged on each renewal date, until you cancel. By subscribing, you affirmatively consent to and authorize these recurring annual charges.
How to cancel. You may cancel at any time — there is no cancellation fee. Go to Account → Manage subscription, which opens the secure Stripe customer portal, and select cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of your current paid term, and you retain access until that term ends.
Renewal reminder. Before each annual renewal we will send a reminder to the email associated with your account, including the renewal date and amount, and a link to manage or cancel your subscription.
Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the new price applies to renewals occurring after we provide advance notice to you by email; you may cancel before the change takes effect.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card details. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file; failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of access.
Complimentary and administrative accounts. We may grant complimentary or administrative access at our discretion; such access is not a paid subscription and may be modified or revoked at any time.

Refund policy

All purchases are final. Annual subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods after a term begins, except where required by applicable law.
No refunds for service interruption. If the site goes offline, becomes unavailable, or is otherwise unable to provide service, no refunds will be issued. You acknowledge that online services may experience downtime, maintenance, or unforeseen disruptions, and continue to be responsible for all subscription fees during such periods.
When you cancel, you will not be charged for future terms and you keep access through the end of the current paid term.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at the email on our Contact page and we will review your request in good faith. Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights that this policy does not limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service by posting a revised version on this page and updating the effective date.
